Lorry Full of Passengers swept away at Muswii River

 


Tragedy struck in Makueni County as over ten people were swept away by floods while trying to cross the Muswii River. 

The tragic incident occurred after the lorry which they were on, attempted to cross the flooded river only for it to get swept away.

The lorry they were on got stuck in the flooded waters and was swept away.

 A video circulating on social media showed the lorry stranded in the middle of the river with people on top of it. Despite their attempts to cross, they were overwhelmed by the water. The incident highlights the danger of crossing flooded rivers, especially during heavy rains.
