Kobong’o Elders Unite to Endorse Hon. Victor Akello for West Nyakach MCA Seat

 Today, elders from Kobong’o formally endorsed Hon. Victor Akello for the West Nyakach Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat ahead of the 2027 elections.

Hon. Victor Akello has earned the community’s respect through his consistent commitment to improving the lives of local residents. Over the years, he has been at the forefront of supporting women’s groups, championing educational initiatives, and empowering the boda boda sector.

The endorsement is a reflection of the trust and confidence the elders have in his leadership and vision for the ward. Many describe him as a humble and approachable leader who understands the challenges people face on the ground.



The event which was attended by the Kobong’o elders, marked a significant moment in West Nyakach’s political landscape. It highlighted the unity and shared vision among the elders in supporting Hon. Victor Akello’s bid to represent them in the county assembly.



As the event concluded many believe that his development oriented leadership and record of service make him a strong favorite in the race.
